Why This Blog Exists

I came from supply chain and logistics. Not computer science.

When IBM acquired Red Hat, I found myself needing to learn containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD from scratch — on the job, in front of people who’d been doing it for years. Most of the content I found was either too shallow to be useful or buried in jargon that assumed I already knew the thing I was trying to learn.

So I built the resource I wish had existed.

Pipeline & Prompts publishes one guide every week on DevOps, Cloud, and AI. Written for people who are smart, motivated, and newer to the field — career switchers, beginners, and anyone tired of pretending they know what a pod is.

No jargon. No fluff. Real examples from real work.

I’m Nerav Doshi. I work in Cloud Infrastructure at Red Hat, helping enterprises navigate Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Hybrid Cloud at scale. I’ve spent 20+ years in technical roles across AI/ML, enterprise infrastructure, and — before all of that — supply chain and logistics.

That background shapes how I write. I think in systems. I explain things the way I needed them explained: from the problem first, then the solution, then the proof it actually works.
